Lets Get High!

…Don’t you ever wish that your life is like those Hollywood movies,,full of sudden adventures that takes you to places or discover your hidden super powers? Hmm..i guess that only happens on the big screen. Life goes on.

Life goes on.
But, life goes on better, I realized.. with these natural highs. We sometimes take things for granted, esp those small stuff as just another ordinary happening that give you a reason to smile. But..come to think of it, it’s not just another reason to smile..its a simple everyday bliss that puts joy in your life. And a reason to be thankful.
1. Falling in love.
2. Laughing so hard your face hurts.
3. A hot shower.
4. No lines at the supermarket.
5. A special glance. (esp from a good looking stranger or that Brad Pitt look alike that u always bumped into)
6. Getting mail (emails..sms..)
7. Taking a drive on a pretty road.
8. Hearing your favorite song on the radio (sing with me now..U Don’t Have To Be A Star Baby..To Be In My ..)

10. Hot towels fresh out of the dryer.
11. Chocolate milkshake (vanilla or strawberry) – make that chocolate YoYo for me
12. A bubble bath.
13. Giggling.
14. A good conversation – over nothing or everything
15 The beach – any beach.
16. Finding a 20 dollar bill in your coat from last winter.
17. Laughing at yourself.
18. Looking into their eyes and knowing they Love you
19 Midnight phone calls that last for hours.
20. Running through sprinklers.
21. Laughing for absolutely no reason at all.
22. Having someone tell you that you're beautiful.
23. Laughing at an inside joke with FRIENDS
25. Accidentally overhearing someone say something nice about you.
26. Waking up and realizing you still have a few hours left to sleep.
27. Your first kiss (either the very first or with a new partner).
28. Making new friends or spending time with old ones.
29. Playing with a new puppy or kitten.
30. Having someone play with your hair.
31. Sweet dreams.
32. Hot chocolate.
33. Road trips with friends.
34. Swinging on swings.
35. Making eye contact with a cute stranger.
36. Making chocolate chip cookies. – or eating it.
37. Having your friends send you homemade cookies.
38 Holding hands with someone you care about. (auw hun..i mizz u - beh!)
39 Running into an old friend and realizing that some things (good or bad) never change.
40. Watching the _expression on someone's face as they open a much desired present from you.

Going Genting - Pheww..

Phew..? yep.im glad its over.
A first timer to one of the highlands in Msia on a BLeasure trip (Business + Pleasure).
I was lucky enough to be selected by my organization to attend a fully sponsored conference trip at Genting Highland last week. 4 days 3 night at Genting and I was coughing like HELL. We stayed at Awana Hotel..quite nice but I got really irritated with the less than satisfying water pressure (there were 3 bathrooms with jacuzzi attached)and lack of facilities provided (we could not request a hair dryer).
O well..Lets talk about the business part first.
An eye opener and very good exposure to the corporate world and endless networking opportunity. Speakers from various companies put their best foot forward during the conference. O ya, it was on Human Resource topics. Learning from the best in the industries was one of the best experience I had so far..esp on the public speaking and communication department. One of the personality was Dato Sharifah who made the journey to the South and North Pole. Enlightened by her stories, I wonder where her next adventure would be.. and would I be as brave as her; walking on thin ice? Not a chance. ;)
The good part..
Collected a lot of free goodies from the exhibition booths hahaha ,,which I gave to my family and friends as souvenirs as I didn’t get a chance to go on a shopping spree during the trip. That’s the DISSAPOINTING part. No fun rides, no Ripley’s tour,, ..just pictures and a heavy heart leaving the place.

4 days and 3 nights and still no time for pleasure??
Yep..fortunately everybody on the trip was on the same boat. All of us didn’t get much chance to buy things at our own sweet time – that’s because we didn’t own the time there. Time dictated our moving pattern. Wake up at 6am, breakfast at 7am, get on the bus by 8am, hop on to the cable car as soon as possible, and a walkathon to the convention center before 9am. We only got 2 – 3 hours of our own time after the session finishes late in the evening. Then its back to the hectic travelling to the hotel. But looking back at all the food served during the conference..made the whole thing worth it haha – and of course the knowledge gained .

Hmm..my first time at a casino as well and I lose rm** playing the jackpot haha..tak pa la. Good thing we were rushing.. if not, I would have spent more than I should. Oops..forgive me o Lord.

An early trip to KL before heading for the airport also didn’t put up with the disappointment of souvenir shopping at Genting. but..everything happens for a reason? I guess so.
I end up buying chocolates at the airport and a shirt on the flight. What a day.
Would I go back to Genting next time? Why not.. strictly pleasure.

My Own Little Trademark

I wanted to sit down and post this one a week ago but never got the time – had to rush to Genting for a conference.
Hmm..i’l scribble about that one later.
(^_*)
..AND so,, I decided to make my own little trade mark for all the pictures/photos I posted here in my blog. Why? Haha..maybe just to hop on to the latest trend nowadays (^_^), and I think it is kind of cool.
Though not a professional photographer or artist specializing on digital print, I guess it’s a way of acknowledging your own work..right? auw..come on people..
I spent a few days thinking of the right words to choose for my little trademark, and finally came up with using my own blog address instead of my name or any other creative phrase. People do it, im sure its no harm for me to do it as well, as I am no threat to anybody hahaha..(not doing this for commercial purpose ya..) just for pleasure and satisfaction (and of course, a hint to let people acknowledge of my work; no matter how not –so- perfect it is).
Hence, I decided to put all pictures that I personally shoot with the trademark/watermark/what ever u may call it. A very simple design.
so,, here u go,,a collections of my favourite, so far :)

My New Name

hi all,
juz wanna let u know that ive changed my blog's domain name to the title of my BLOG itself :)http://www.littlelifespleasure.blogpsot.com/
never wonder why ive chosen the name, but..i thought..if i were to start a blog..i would be writing about something that i enjoy n love..n a pleasure to share..kn?
so,, there you go.. :)
hmm..wats the story behind your domain name?
I got a new hobby – eating out @ jalan2 cari makan hahaa
Im trying to look at it positively ..thus come up with the thought of
“Makan..before u kena Makan” blh pakai ke?
Ntah la..but happy with this little life pleasure of mine.
A good friend of mine suggest to share all the good information on where’s hot and where’s not on the food and beverage department that i have been to..or will be going to. Hmm,not bad..hence,, the idea of putting this into words and in my little cyber pleasure. Thanks Tan: u keep on bloging as well on all the great food u prepare ya ;)
First on the list will be Rasamas Restaurant at 1 Borneo Hypermall. Located just around the corner of the Giant hypermart there.
Kinda cool and comfy specialty restaurant, I would say. It serves mainly chicken dishes. AYAMAS..RASAMAS..get it? (^_^),,
Price: Medium to expensive
On the menu: set meals..chicken rice, side dishes..think The Chicken Rice Shop
Ambience: comfortable, modern, three star ***
U need to order ur food at the counter..just like a fast food restaurant, but of course they will serve u the food at ur table – think Rafflesia Chicken Hut..hehe
Quite good customer service. Patient..polite..all smiley..maybe because there were less customers that time..haha. the only minus point was,, we didn’t get any chili or tomato sauce serving that should accompany any chicken rice meal. Hence we end up using the brand new Ayamas chilli sauce that we bought at the counter previously – ingat kn mau bawa pulang..baru buka..haha.
chicken roaster set meal that cost about RM11++
grastonomically delicious?..mm..2 star
During tapau time (yep,, we ordered quite too many to admit), I smilingly ask for any tapau box that were provided. The lovely waitress showed me the place where I can get my tapau container and plastic bag – myself – next time. Hmm..you judge that one yourself. I guess that,, its good, in a way,,since customers can get how ever much tapau containers they need@want by themselves in the future. But u know what customers can do..should they abuse the power. So..there you go..a pretty container to tapau a bunch of tulang ayams.Would I recommend this restaurant to friends and families? Give me 50% discount voucher, I might say YES.

a pose at the place is a must.

(^_^) the atmosphere quite nice ba..

Jika..Ingin..

..got this beautiful thought from a friend that i'd like to share with u all (^_^)
Enjoy.

p/s: nod ur head if u agree, hehe. o ya, btw, thanks ya, mr SonLarry (^_^) for this inspirational thought

The Secret Birthday

Finally , I can squeeze some time for my LLP (Little Life’s Pleasure). It has been a hectic week, where I hold on to the thought of lots of things to blog about, but, alas, couldn’t find the time. Well..
The recent raya holiday meant so much for me. Kuch kuch hotta hai.. aka- something happened to my heart. A celebration that was postponed finally came to live one fine evening. Well..ya..i never celebrate birthdays anyways,, but so does my siginificant other, and that’s why I made it a big deal to really make it happen this time – even if it was 1 and a half month late. our birthdays are actually just days apart – and every year he reminds me of the story of how he never got to celebrates his birthday. Work commitment and distance were the culprits of course, but nevermind, we got what we wanted or needed – I think.haha.

A very simple occasion at Secret Recipe 1 Borneo (I luv u Secret Recipe – though u burn my pocket)..i made the innocent waitress sang me a birthday song, that was after a round of pujuk – ing and offer of a slice of our birthday cake.
My S.O? I don’t think so? Singing in public places? Haha..pinch me please ;) ..and so she sang..and so..she got the cake – I couldn’t believe I was extra nice that evening, but she deserved it.
Whoa..cheesey chocolate cake – u tasted sinfully delicious. Ladies n gentlemen,,U hv got to taste this one. A deadly combination! Cheese + Chocolate. Thanks hun for the cake.
We deserved it.

p/s: btw, i'd like to take this opportunity to wish a very gooooood friend of mine, a great birthday..TODAY (13th oct). Happy birthday liang moi,,may all OUR wishes come true hahaha :)
